Large Format Photography

In this workshop, we will cover large format photography using a Sinar F 4×5 camera. Understand all of the movements involved in view cameras (such as tilt/shift) and learn below extension exposure compensation. You will have the opportunity to make one portrait and one still life in studio ambient using artificial light. We will cover the processing of sheet film (in black & white) as well as making contact prints from the negatives obtained. This workshop INCLUDES ALL OF THE MATERIALS necessary for each participant to make 2 photos.

This technique allows for the chemical etching and emulsion lifting on traditional photographic prints. Participants will have the opportunity to make their own enlargements and learn how to produce this effect that looks like floating veils. This workshop INCLUDES ALL OF THE MATERIALS necessary for each participant to make 3 postcard sized prints.
